Last night we played the Hotel Tavern to the most enthusiastic crowd I have ever played in front of. The room stayed full, the fans were engaged and applauded for every song. We had our first standing ovation. That came after the bar, which was loud and boisterous, became totally quiet to hear us play In My Life, a Beatles tune. It was like playing a concert instead of a bar/restaurant filled with the happiest of folks. The staff and owners went out of their way to make our visit the most wonderful experience we could have imagined. The near 2 hour drive was totally worth it. Wonderful time was had by all and the food was great. These folks - the inhabitants of West Jefferson and the staff - are doing it right. Can not wait to play there again. Thank you all.Hotel Tavern
